The one thing about La is they do listen to what hunters have to say and after feedback they attempt to make changes. Examples being "limited access areas", 2 pm closures, etc.

Some of y'all may have heard of Dr. Frank Rowher. This is from another site:

"if you are interested in putting some serious input into hunting conditions on catahoula lake
LSU is currently doing waterfowl hunter surveys for people that hunt catahoula lake
they have been doing it at the boat launches or leaving paperwork on your windshield to mail in

the contact for the survey if you want to participate is Dr. Frank Rohwer
email is frohwer@lsu.edu phone 225 578 4146

you can contact him for a survey page, this is a perfect time to state your opinion as the survey ask the following questions to name a few

should decoys be removed everyday?
should hunting be limited to 2 pm
should hunting be restricted to 4 days per week
should permanent blinds be allowed or removed
should blind spacing be regulated
if there are permanent blinds, how should they be allocated, lottery, first come first serve, leave as it is
etc

so for as much complaining that goes on about hunting out there, this is one way that your opinion could be heard, even if you like the way it is, now is the time to say so

please contact LSU so you can get in on the input."
