    I've killed a couple on the Cooper River near Pimlico. Also seen oldsquaw popped out there too
    Living in Moncks Corner but looking forward to moving back to the West Coast in 2020 where there are more ducks and less duck hunters!! LOL

    Absolutely wrong! I have never seen a true black with a white patch on his head! Therefore, it must be a mottled.

    an Eider can take 7 loads of #2's in the face and still live. Scoter's not so tough....

    Oh and an Eider is HUGE compared to Scoter not to mention it's freaking WHITE!
