    Were those geese carryin maple leaf flags to let you know they were, in fact, from Canada? Or were they just regular ol' Canada Geese? Or did you actually shoot some Canadian tourists? If so, I'd probably delete this thread.

    I walked outside this morning with the pups about shooting time. I could hear shots on the river, but it didn't hurt as bad when I lived on the lake year around. Waking up on the opener and hearing shots and seeing boats while you're getting ready to head in is sorta heartbreaking. I've been up here dealing with another horse race and what not all morning, but be rest assured I'm killing some birds in the am.

    6 wood ducks ... Shot like shit, should have killed 3 more easily to fill out our 3 man limit. The mallards that were around on Monday never showed up.

    4 greenwings 1 bluewing. Woofed number 6 like a champ at 10 yds locked up. Should have had a full strap but no complaints.
