this is becoming a HUGE event...almost as big as our general banquet.

if you need tickets, PM scturkeyguide or myself. we can help....well, HE can help, but i can point you in the right direction.

i will be in disney world that weekend. i am trying to be excited about it.

Hey 2th, not that I am getting any birds anyway, but who planned this for the Friday noght before the last Saturday in duck season?

It is indeed scheduled for 1/27 at the University House. Tickets were just recieved by the committee yesterday. Sponsor tickets are going out in the mail this weekend and mailers from DU National and Cola. DU are on their way. I'm not on the site much any more so you'd be better off trying to get up with SCturkeyguide or getting them at the door. Oysters of course, deer/elk and plenty of other food.

I've tried like hell to get it moved away from the Friday before the last day of duck season but it's always been that night and it's always been a big success, plus it's the night we could get the University House. As the committee treasurer I encourage you all to come on out, have a good time, buy lots of stuff and pay for it early....I've got a long drive the next morning!

The crowd was smaller indeed. We had about 250 there, but the revenue generated was much greater. We generated ~75% money this year with about 100 fewer people. Of course we didn't have to deal with people stealing merchandise like in years past, that helps the bottom line quite a bit.

Thanks to all who came out and I hope everyone had a good time.

That beats me how people can steal in a place like that with so many eyes around. It happens though.
