One way to tell if you are scorching you're water is to see if it is sticking to the bottom of the pot. If it is, turn the heat down a little.

From the picture it looks like you boiled the piss instead of the water. Read the recipe a little closer next time. It specifically calls for water. But with all the talk of piss boiling on this thread I can see where the confusion came in. If you decide to stick with the piss instead of switching to water, the suggestion of adding salt can be skipped.

Water normally boils better when you wrap it in bacon with cream cheese and jalapenos. Some folks like it marinated in Italian dressing too.

BB, you could go either way with it. Will the water be chilled after the boil? Will there be salt in it? I need to know the basics.

boil it on the highest peak you can find in the pot with the largest surface area you have..and thats the troooth
