    Default bottom fishing 8-28 and 8-29

    8-28

    Fished with a great 6 man crew with Freeman Boatworks! The grouper bite was going off, we had our limit in no time. Hated to have to release my personal best ARS (25#'s).

    The Freeman 33 is amazing.












    8-29

    The bite wasn't as hot as it was on Sunday, but we still managed another limit of grouper. 1 gag and the rest Scamp!

    Fuel flow not bad for big twins. Rather see a shot of the GPS though.

    that was 10 miles out on the way back in. We'd been running around all day at 35 knts, never anchored (motor fished) so the engines had run all day.

    We also did some exploratory stuff for a couple of hours since we had our limit so early and still had a well full of live bait.

    That boat is "under rated" on the www.......

    I am headed to Venice, LA next month for YFT. We are fishing on a Freeman 33. Can't wait. Supposed to be one hell of a nice boat.

    Nice fishin! My buddy fished on the freeman a month or so back and said it was unbelievable in a 4ft ocean.
