Miss Vikki, Et Al,
If you like the style of the Chippewa Pull-ons, these are the boots you need:
Waterproof, very little break-in time. I can wear mine all day and be comfortable, no issues driving in them either.
“I have heard there are troubles of more than one kind. Some come from ahead and some come from behind. But I've bought a big bat. I'm all ready you see. Now my troubles are going to have troubles with me!” - Dr. Seuss
tell JAB to get you a pair of the turtle skin ones in Cabelas catalog!
to break in the leather bottom chippewas you need to soak them in water and wear them wet for a whole day WHEN THEY'RE NEW AND UNTREATED.
if you don't walk enough that day you may have to repeat.
if you have already treated them so they are waterproof, try filling them with water before you stick your feet in them, then walk all day.
this will work- it's the way it was done for ever before all yall youngins started buyin pre softened boots.
