    Default shellcrackers

We got to fish this week and tried a little different spot than last time. We were able to get into a few fish. The weather was a lot nicer than the strong winds we had last week. Kept 45 between the three of us. Nicer ones were better than a pound and a quarter, small ones swallowed the hook. A good time was had by all.

Something about fishing in insulated overhauls just doesn't hold much appeal for me.

    Good catchin' and killin'.

Man yea! Time for a bath in Lake Crisco. Looks like fun for sure.

I was going to hit the water this weekend, but with all the rain now second guessing. THe kids would still have fun, just might not be as productive.

Nice, good thing about fishing this time of year...not a lot of competition.

The coveralls weren't really necessary, mostly just for the ride across the lake, they were quickly shed. The weather was real nice, reely. Not a lot of boats where we were fishing, but the parking lot had a lot of trucks in it and we did see the boats grouped up on some of the more popular spots, we just avoided them. You have to be good at hiding.

That's good enough reason right there.

The only thing better than catching brimps is catching more brimps again the next day.
