    Default Teige's first kill shot

I found a slow end of the field yesterday. This is my boy and I, and the camo burlap made him feel like he was in a fort.

    My boy and I.

It wasn't a pretty stance on my part. If I knew somebody was taking a pic, I would have sucked in.

*almost got it on this one.

How old is he? I've got a 3 1/2 year old that thinks he's 30. I'm thinking about starting him with some squirrels after deer season goes out.

He had blood and dove feathers up to his elbows Saturday night helping me clean birds, and loving every minute of it.

I tell you what, I had no idea I would enjoy a child as much as I enjoy mine.

MC, He's 5 1/2. Teige did great Sunday, and I'm excited that he's enjoying it so much right now. In the field he reminded me of myself when at that age I thought I could take one from the sky with a BB.

    Good stuff Main.

The boy toted his red ryder on the opener, and finished off many a dove for us.

He even took a shot on the wing and slowed down a bird enough for me to "finish him off" He enjoyed eating his "first" dove. :bigthumb"

Reminds me of my oldest son the first time I took him dove hunting, he was around three. I shot a bird and it just happen to fall towards us, right before the bird hits the ground my son takes a shot with his bb rifle. The bird hits the ground, and he shouts "Dad, you missed the bird, but I got him!" He still tells that story today, he's 12yrs old now, and still loves the outdoors.

Man as much as you love young'uns and love taking them to the woods and water, you seriously need to go out there and sire you a couple. I'm just saying.
