Default Kept it inshore this weekend

Had plans on going offshore Saturday. Canceled Friday night after looking at the radar and noticing storms offshore. Thought it was going storm out there Saturday pretty bad. I've been caught in storms before offshore and it's not something I wish to repeat. It was a risk I didn't want to take on a 24' boat so I canceled. My crew was pissed Saturday because it turned out to be beautiful. Oh well I took some buddies inshore and we had some good action. From the fishing reports I got I don't think we really missed much.

No we caught 6-7. A couple other nice ones. That's the only one I took a pic of and the only one we kept.

He ate a very small peanut menhaden

Thats a hell of a gator trout. Nice catching. And you didnt miss much off to the east and deep. Fish were scattered as were the weeds. Never got anything going. Just picked at em.

    nice trout.

sportin woodies is gonna love those mustaches.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

Those two are brothers. One is a fire fighter on John's Island. Good people.

That spot looks really familiar. I've caught some nice trout there over the years.

Nice trout Bill. What you dying to fish with me for? You look like you're doing fine on your own.

I want to learn more about site fishing back in the creeks on low tides.... need to learn more about locating fish.

Most of my spots, except for wading grass flats, are more along the lines of toss out some live bait, crack a cold beer, and wait for the rods to bend or corks to go under.

Great, because I'm always up for learning more about tossing out live bait and cracking beers
