Default First one of the 2010

Tried to put the slip on me but ended up catching the smackdown. He never gobbled off the roast and only gobbled a total of 4 times, but he was thundering when he did. Never answered me but came anyways to check things out. He came down the road from behind me and came within about 7-8 yards of the tree I was on. He would never get in one of the shooting lanes I had cut before it got light and got real spooky when he rounded the corner and saw my jake decoy. He tried to get away and started heading away from me but I had one little hole to shoot him through and he dropped like a ton of bricks at about 45 yards with a little help from Mr. Benelli.

Thanks fellas, he has a nice full fan but you cant tell from the pics. The cold air had him starting to get stiff by the time I got home so taking pictures by myself was a fun chore. Other than that had alot of fun and cant wait for in the morning gonna try and call one in for my buddy.

Nice bird. Congrats! I had three in front of me this morning but chose the wrong weapon. Never came into bow range. Damn the bad luck!
