    Been messin' around with some funny smoke and funky lighting. And, no...haven't been hangin' around anybody bakin' up any funny brownies neither. Anyway, sumptin' different I suppose.

    Wireless SB 900 to camera left. Incense holder 2-3ft in front of black backdrop. Fire flash directly at an up-angle and usually no more than 3-4 inches away from smoke. Use a large aperture...mine was at least 9...and try to keep your speed above 1/250...which means more than likely you'll have to set all of this manually.
