Dude, my appologies. I don't know what I was thinking about. 864-654-1617 is the number listed for law enforcement in that area. Now that I got out of the rules and regs book. I thought it had something in the book, but I can't find it.

Went with a guy a few years ago, and he had a pack of Jack Russells! They really work well for bay dogs, hogs will not run from them.

I guess I have owned or run about every kind of dog that will chase a pig over the years. Labs are the best in my situation simply because most of them won't run far. I know where the hogs are going to be and that is where we go. Then we go home. You can have that lost dog crap.

I hate seeing this exploding Hog Hunter fad. I am already catching assholes hog dogs on my property and the state is seeing these same assholes dumping hogs out from the mountains to the sea.

Just in case some of you reading here are said assholes, your hog dogs come into my yard and start ANY shit with our labs, you are going to need a shovel. A pitbull's appearance on my property is prima facie evidence of shit starting...

If it happens much more to private landowners, there will be a hog dogging season enacted and nobody wants that.

I don't think there will be a "season" put into place because hogs are an invasive and very destructive species. There will probably end up being a law against transporting live hogs though. If some kind of comprise isn't reached between land owners and deer dog hunters then I do believe that dog hog hunting will suffer because of it.
