Wanting to go to North Dakota next year any info would be great. (ie) guides or freelance. We do plan on flying up instead of driving.

Drive if you are going to freelance. Have to put the work and miles in.
pm blackduck.
fly with guns to minot and rent a truck (4wd) with a decent towing package on it.
You'll have to put in a lot of miles scouting. Contrary to popular belief, the ducks are not just everywhere. We burn at least a tank of gas a day scouting after we hunt in the am.

I plan on driving up to ND from Colorado... if anyone wants to fly into DEN and join up. I don't mind hauling the gear but I have NO contacts in ND.

My advice is to contact the either the Langdon or Cavalier ND chamber of commerce to see if they can put you in touch with a local farmer. I've taken a few guys on SCDUCKS to hunt in ND when I lived there. I had a farmer who wanted to the guys to kill as many ducks as possible. You would fly into Grand Forks and rent a truck a drive 90 miles north.
Thanks for the replies, I'll try the Chamber of Commerce Jethro92.
nah hadnt talked with him
i feel for the man that has to drink that water.
I would rather sleep in the truck. But the gear and shed are nice.
THis is north dakota, lots of shit goes on there that you will not beleive, and I think all 4 x 4 rentals have towing packages.....Hell the exxon still has a hitch I left with him 2 years ago....
you would need a hitch because the house rental comes with an enclosed trailer full of decoys and ground blinds. Also, if you fly out there for the first time, why would you even need a hitch? Did you pack a trailer in your carry-on??
you dipshit.
there was no mention of it not including such things.
you assumed it didnt.
in fact, context clues from my original post, as well as knowledge of this sites previous sponsor's lease package, make your assumptions "dipshitish".
The context of this post suggest nothing about a covered trailer or decoys. I've rented dozens of houses in the Dakotas that didn't have covered trailers full of decoys and layout blinds...so I guess I was renting in the low-rent areas! Sorry if I offended you bud.
That wasn't even the point of the post to begin with-I was just hoping that I was completely wrong about towing packages on rental cars because they would be a tremendous help to me when I go to my place out there every year.
