    Today was one for the books. I set up kinda early to get ahead of the late season crowds but the crowds never came. I guess all the so called duck hunters gave up already. Anyway, the birds worked well and the few hunters who must have been around didn't call or skybust at all. Heck, I didn't even hear anyone shoot except myself. It was almost like I had the lake to myself. I ended up with 3 mallards, 2 blacks/mottled, 4 woodies and 2 hooded mergansers. I will try to post some pics tomorrow when I get back from the lake. I don't think I will have to leave as early as I have in the past.

    There's a pretty good reason that you were the only one out there and nobody was shooting around you. In fact, nobody else in the state was shooting period (legally). Duck season ended Sunday buddy. The only legal waterfowl yesterday was the common snipe...I hope this post was a joke.

    Well, if there weren't so many dumb asses in this state that actually think that they ARE duck hunters, I might not be such a "gullible ass mother fucker" now would I??? I'm sorry, but any dumbass that posts pictures of mergs and claims them to be buffleheads, regardless if he was joking or not is a DUMBASS MOTHER FUCKER (YOU)....Not to mention, I stated that "I hope this post was a joke!!!!" I knew that odds were somebody was just fucking around but the sad thing is, I wouldn't put it past some tamie shooting jack ass to actually hunt the day after season closed and not have a clue it was illegal. I've approached some guys with DU shirts on randomly just to start a conversation about duck hunting and heard stories about "shooting mallards off the dock" and "I just like DU because everybody else does." I'm not saying that there aren't dumbasses all over this country that do the same, just saying I haven't met one until I moved here. Might be part of our duck population (or lack there of) problem. Anyways, I thought this site was to share each others experiences, thoughts, photos, etc, but obviously its just a forum to talk shit to people you don't know because you're pecker isn't big enough to do it in person.

    and believe it or not, there are actually a few members of this site that hold conservation permits issued by the state that allow them to hunt after the season to collect samples for research purposes.... I have one my self, but im only a level one so my permit isnt valid for waterfowl yet.....

    SO Mr tx, either get a fuckin sense of humor or visit this website in the future.....
