regardless, why would anyone have a .243 rifle set up to shoot 1000 yards?
I can shoot my 597 22lr 500 yards, no scope.
i still wanna see the pics you have of the 220" buck too.
but i dont care enough about your pompous ass to give you a penny.
SO far we have money and a pickup truck on the line.
Buckpro the area you will be shooting is a set of RR tracks, not a limb in the way. Matter of fact you prolly get an advantage because the trees would block a cross wind.
First somebody wanted to see your setup, with you in it. So lets do that first.
And I am free Saturday morning. Let me know
somebody video it.
although i trust quack to keep it legit.
this guy is about a dumb ass. I just checked the Remington web site and thier lightest boattail bullet would be dropping around 300 inches at 1,000 yards. it would only carry 210 ft pounds of energy so if you did hit something I doubt it would die. In addtion to all that assuming a 5 mile per hour cross wind you would have over 62 inches of drift to accout for............Aint fightin against facts a bitch.

what kind of scope?? size??
what kind of rest will you be on?
All the shooters and gunsmiths I know that compete @ 1000 use .30 cal. Somen bout sexual n den city n da wind drift. But the 6mm/243 rules the 600 yrd course. I'm not comfortable shooting my Tooley 243AI past 500 yet, but before this gun, I wouldn't dream of shooting 400 to 500 @ an animal. Now, just BAM! Dead! Dave tole me that if I can't shoot 6" groups @ 600, it ain't the guns fault. Joel P beat Dave's 1000 yrd 10 shot world record of 3.4" with a 3.0somen". I think there was few 243/6mm shooter competing this spring @ 1000. None won anthing, but a guy from TN shot a 5.3" group @ 1000 wit his 6X47, so it can be done. Here's the resultsof the spring 1000yrd shoot, I didn't see any SC shooters wi der 243 though.

I am a nobody, that met somebody, that can save anybody.
I thought I would at least get a good excuse to sit, drink beer, and watch somebody take shots at my truck...
oh well.............................
PS: I would definitely have to drink beer to watch somebody take shots at my truck, but not from 1000yds....that I wanna see!

In my opinion this is total bullshit. So what im sayin u might do it once but i dont think u cant put 3/5 in it. I got a Barn u can shoot at. And the 3/5 thing still applies.

Yeah well it might be but its still accurate.
shooting at a deer with a 22 at 500 yards and with only pure luck on your buddies side is bullshit. thats something i would not talk about over a message board.
Why even pull the trigger in that deers direction.
bout as retarded as shooting ducks with 22's and putting it on youtube.
give your friend a swift kick in the dick from all of us.........
