Brother's kidnapper reconsideration sentence results

the judge originally gave him 38 years. He was 50 years old then. He would have to serve 85% of that, which was around 33 years with time served. Today we were in court for about 3 hours during the trial. i felt like it was something you would see on TV. The judge gave a reconsideration sentence of 25 years. he has to serve 85% of thaT MINUS 3 YEARS TIME SERVED=18.25. He would have died in Prison before more than likely but now the sentence has been cut in half and he wiull get out with a good bit of life yet.
The criminals family was still very angry about his sentence being cut in half They are wanting more and are going to appeal for a lesser sentence. Here we go again.
