    Default newbie

i have been really wanting to start flyfishing it looks like alot of fun and a good challenge!

i was wondering what a good begginer rod would be not looking to spend a whole lot right now just getting into it?

    any suggestions are much appreciated.

    thanks

I'd go to a local fly shop get a 5 weight rod, reel, and fly line. The entire thing can run around 175. Some cheaper, some, a lot more expensive. At the shop the guys should rig the entire thing up for you and show you the ends and outs of the outfit, and maybe give you a free casting lesson.
