Default rotary cultivator vs sweep cultivator

Anyone got an opinion on the rotarty cultivator for corn vs a sweep cultivator? Just trying to decide what to get? If i plant rr corn do i still need to cultivate?

don't cultivate...if you apply pre-emerge the cultivating will break the seal on it also

Now that seed companies have developed RR corn in so many varieties, my Lillison cultivator is collecting rust. It is a great machine and with a great operator it'll clean up a field. I will only use it now and again to get rid of volunteer RR or LL corn, if needed.

Purchase some RR corn, plant it, spray it, lay-by N, spray again after the field weeds up then flood the field.

This will save you time and dollars in the long run.
