    They do - I've had sent some pm's that had info never put out on here and certain people post it up a little later - I'll let ya'll decide who that certain person is.
    I always thought a website was a selling tool, not a product repair manual!

    This comes up a few times a year. As usual the answer is YES! Administrators of this and every website that you have a login and password could get your password and do all sorts of nasty things with them. As old timers will remember, we used to tell everyone to make sure that they didn't use the same password for every forum that they visited. Upon signup your password, email, and IP are all logged on the software it is how we are able to restore passwords when you lose them. I have seen people use their friggin social security numbers as their password. DO NOT DO THIS. We used to be militant about people giving out their names, addresses, etc on this website and now we do the same thing ourselves occasionally. It you would not make that information available to a stranger on the street, please don't make it available to the entire PLANET by putting it on the internet.

    We at SCDUCKS strive for security and at no time is anyone at SCDUCKS reading private messages. Our new software that Rock has been working his ass off on for the past 2 weeks is even more secure than this site. There will always be those little people who try to drag the site down with their constant sniping ie- Dunnojak and Spider (when was the last time you contributed anything of value?). We don't worry too much about it because it has always been and always will be. Some people will just sniff at a free lunch, no matter what you offer them. At the end of the day, it is your choice to log on or log out...

    General rule of thumb....... tell people stuff in person if you don't want somebody else to see it. E-mails get intercepted all the time as well

    We don't pay to be members of this board so, as far as I'm concerned the owners of this board "own" the content posted in either PM's or posts. If you don't want someone reading your PM's send the person you want to converse with your email address and take it off the board.
