Caught 8 this past weekend.
shoot um.. .357 to head is pretty cool to watch
Let me put the dogs on them! Now that's cool to watch!
scattergun through the bull panel, works everytime. woodie yall got some dogs?
cut\'em
They look delicious :hungry:
Feed those little critters for a while and then off to the pit and smokehouse they should go
4 went to be raised for slaughter later. 2 for the grill this weekend and the other 2 had to be wacked on the run because they were so small they kept escaping. They'd escape and a hour later they'd be back in the trap. I snuck up from a different route the last time!
i would delete that post. transporting live hogs is a no-no.
Ugh. Stupid people piss me off.
Someone correct me but I thought you would remove them from the trap and put them in a pen but you could not haul them down the road, basically as long as they dont leave the property. Though I do see them getting hauled down the road quite frequently with no consequences it seems
cut\'em
Am I in violation per the rule below? I'm not on a WMA. I placed the hogs in a pen to raise, they are not free roaming.
"No hogs may be taken live from any WMA in the state. It is unlawful to release or transport for the purpose of release, hogs for hunting purposes or in an attempt to establish or supplement a free roaming population (50-16-25)."
i was told you couldnt even take the down the road to fatten them up. it is certainly worth checking on, but i agree it sounds ok from your post.
i need to look it up...
Ugh. Stupid people piss me off.
looks like a BBQ sandwich with legs!

“… duckhunting stands alone as an outdoor discipline. It has a tang and spirit shared by no other sport—a philosophy compounded of sleet, the winnow of unseen wings, and the reeks of marsh mud and wet wool. No other sport has so many theories, legends, casehardened disciples and treasured memories.”
--John Madson, The Mallard, 1960

2th, he is right. You can transport them, but not release them back into the wild!

Cocksuckers.
theres some dumb SOB that has released several dozen hogs behind his house in the area that i hunt. This has been going on for over a year. Now, they are starting to venture up on the hill and destroying a lot of the public land plots that i hunt... Before this ignorant SOB, the only hogs within 15 miles were a long he santee...Everytime, i go into the swamp i find more and more rooting and destruction..... Hell Bonneau Ferry has had EVERY single chufa patch destroyed by the hogs this year. i just read a news release from DNR that they arent going to be planting anymore chufa because it costs too damn much..only for it to be destroyed...
SPELLCHECK......
