    Good job squatty.
    Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

    Way to go. Only bands I've ever gotten were on Mallards and Wood Ducks (oh, and 1 Specklebelly that was group shot.....I, of course, lost the draw for it).

    Yes, the bird was shot right here in good 'ol South Carolina and according to the data on the USGS site 21,249 Bufflehead's have been banded through 2004 and 2,004 have been encountered. I'll let ya'll know about the banding info on this bird later

    Congrats S.! I think when you finish collecting the drake of each species...you should start a new mission to collect a band from each species!

    I'm guessing he's banded this year. Not a lot of wear on that band.
    I don't need my name in the marquee lights....
