Default My youngest 1st Dove hunt.

I told both my boys that when they turned 5 they could start going dove hunting with me. My youngest will turn five Jan 25, after this season end, so he went with me today.

Props to you Daddy for letting him go out there early-- those are life building trips as i well remember!!

Tell me- is he whistle/hand signal trained or do you just call out guidance like my old man did??

He is a call out guidance, his 7 year old brother just runs out there and gets the bird without any hand signals or anything . I hardly ever have to use the collar on him anymore. My seven year old talks about the guy in the green suit that looked in my wallet this past September all the time. All he gave me back was my license too.
