    Default Where to go

Some friends of mine are trying to decide where to go Arkansas, Mizzu, or Illinois. Where would be the better of the three as far as where the birds are now?

Arkansas does'nt have the water to thin the crowds yet and Missouri has very little public land but plenty of birds. I'm not familiar with Illinois. If it is private, Arkansas, with a guide, Missouri. Good luck with you're trip and be careful on the drive out.

Do some research. Missouri has plenty of public land.

Southern Ill, was there Dec. 4-7. Had a great hunt but there was some ice to contend with. If you go to Ill go to the south because the weather is alot different than the northern part of the state. Horseshoe lake area and it is only 9 hours from Charleston

I guess that was comparitively speaking. From my understanding a lot of Missouri's WMA's are draw hunts that are drawn 2 hrs. before shooting time.
