    Fuckery you say?

Wilson rubber stamped the murder of Scott Spivey because of the killer's connections at HPD on the basis of stand your ground laws after the killer chased Scott 9 miles down the highway and speeds over 90+ mph.
Fuckery abounded in that case from Weldon's phone call to lead detective at HPD from the scene of the accident and was told by the detective, "I got the right people on the way".
And irrefutable proof that a officer on scene wrote on a legal pad, "act innocent for the cameras" at scene of the shooting.

And Wilson was at the top of this chain of "fuckery' when it landed on his desk.

Luckily SC governor is a nearly worthless position.

Noted and appreciated. I have tried to quit paying attention to politics because I hate Satan.

I am not sure what that case is about. Every Spivey I know were thieving asshats, but that is Eastover for you.

As far as Wilson goes, I have never met the man. That is strange enough...

As for Graham, I am like most on here that really did not care for him but still voted for him

Just always wanted him to be voted out and not go out like this. Really sad

But have to admit he really did his job he was elected to do , that I can not argue with at all

I can only imagine the shit show we are fixing to see though , as DT said lot of folks skipped church today working the phones I am sure.

End of day I just hope his heart was right and he knew Jesus in his heart

Joe Wilson pissed me off when he spent an entire day walking around the Lake Katherine area with Kirkman Findlay doing photos ops instead of actually getting his hands dirty and helping flood victims clean out what was left of their homes. His pressed khakis and blue shirt didn’t have a spot of dirt or mud on them at the end of the day. That seems typical of politicians and I’ve always assumed Alan fits that mold.

However, Alan served under my uncle in Iraq and my uncle thinks a lot of him and his leadership ability. That’s not to say he will be a great governor, senator, etc., but my uncle’s perspective makes me view Alan in a slightly more favorable light than most politicians.

If Nikki Haley wants in it will be Nikki or Henry. If Nikki decides to run she would win and she would have my vote. I know most here won’t agree but I don’t care.

    Would Trump endorse Nikki?

Who knows. Duck tape I don’t doubt you because you are in the know, however I was under the understanding that he could appoint himself then. I have seen an article mention this I think. I’m interested in that process if he decided to do so.

I pray that Governor McMaster makes the best decision for the people of South Carolina. He has done about as good of a job as governor as we could have asked with the exception of closing churches while letting liquor stores and big box stores remain open as critical needs during the COVID scam. In my heart I pray he wasn’t given a choice.
I disagreed with the Senator on many issues and subsequently turned down a potential position on his staff 20 years ago out of principle. At the end of the day he was a fine Southern gentleman who always had the best interests of his constituents in mind. I voted for him every time he was unopposed and would have voted for him again in November because the alternative was unacceptable to the interests of our state and constituents.
To those that speak ill of the Wilson family and their love of this state you’re either a democrat at heart, low bred and ignorant or more likely both.

^^^I didn't speak ill of the Wilson family. I spoke ill of the fact that Alan Wilson was part of a piece of fuckery that is still unraveling.
And unless you have an alternate set of facts other than what I stated you can kiss my ass.

I never heard of this situation before you brought it up on this site but as a general rule civilized people don’t get involved in high speed chases, brandish weapons or exchange gunfire over a dispute that could be otherwise avoided . I am certainly sorry for the loss of your friend but from the news articles available it sounds like an unfortunate situation that could have been avoided. Guns, booze, hot tempers and car chases generally end poorly for all involved. The AG didn’t shoot your friend or prompt a situation that lead to his unfortunate demise.

Likely an indictment of me, but that is the hardest 3 days of work I've ever logged. At least he showed up after the water receded so his loafers didn't get wet.

Come on now. After your comment about being a dem and or low bred, you can do better than this hear no evil, see no evil response. And as to the “articles available,” it’s been covered in all the state papers, WSJ, Fits News, NYT, commercials on the radio for podcasts about it. And not only articles about the shooting itself but also articles about Alan Wilson and the Castle Doctrine, so it’s even more shocking you weren’t “aware” of it when your boy was all over the headlines.

Doesn’t matter who Foghorn picks if people don’t show up to vote in November.

Be prepared to see a Democrat onslaught on this state like never before in support of the lady Dr running against Graham.

She was poling very close to Graham at the end of June.

Lindsey barely made it back in 2020, we’ve had a lot of yankee dems move into the state in the last 6 years.
