They’re having component issues. Everyone is.

I'm still anxiously waiting for my Horizon 22CM to ship. Soon I am told.

Picked up the Vandal X today. Overall, very impressed. Range time next and see what she will do.

Looks great. What are your plans for it as far as uses? I've seen a guy on youtube take some pretty big animals with it.

I bought this primarily for Texas. Once I get it broken in and load selected, I will probably kill some hogs and does when the opportunity presents.

Right now, I’m hopeful the rifle shoots small groups with 70 grain Accubonds (or 62 grain TTSX) at really high velocity. I’m certain that with a bonded or monolithic copper bullet it will kill deer and hogs well.

I have a bunch of other rifles for “ big animals”

The rifle itself appears to be over high quality with good components. I will get it sighted in and report back later. Digging the TriggerTech. The ease of getting the pull weight exactly where I like it with a few clicks , and not having to remove the trigger and adjusting 3 screws. I’m sold on them.. have a few rifles that are going to get upgraded in the future.

It should be a shooter with everything I've read and heard about them. Maybe one day I'll step up there. I still like playing in the minor leagues.

I've seen some pretty good reports on those new 307s from Weatherby. I might have to try one of those out. They are making one in 22 creed.

I still haven't touched any of the 22 creeds I have. I've been so busy doing other stuff that was put off for way too long. I finally got my bigger boat on the lake yesterday for the first time since May of last year. Wateree was a dang circus starting about noon. Should have went shooting.

    FWIW,

Ruger is chambering the Gen 2 American in 22 Creed. They are available.

Bergara is going to start shipping their Wilderness HMR and Cima rifles in 22 CM soon. Perhaps a couple other versions as well.
