How am I supposed to lease land to guys from Florida with all of this mess going on?

Underrated comment. We wouldn't have most of the problems we face with land in SC if people wouldn't have sold, divided, and leased it to non-SC people.

You can point to a lot of things for the downfall of the traditional SC way of life, but the main cause of death will be the way we let outsiders take our land. And the irony of it is that every one that sold it thought they were doing the right thing because they got a little cash in their pocket. Choices have consequences and unfortunately this one will hurt for generations to come.

You should see how it is going for those in Florida Seems everything has been sold off and developed.

Everyone complains about Florida hunters coming to shoot "their" deer but droves come to shoot Florida "osceolas" or fish in the keys. Is what it is. Its 2026, people move and life goes on.

Hate I’ve missed this..

I want all of the still hunters, tamie pond shooters, turkey hunters and depredation tag shooters to police your own..

People shoot too many young bucks, more than their limit, use live decoys/bait the piss out of impoundments, fan turkeys (3) properties down and shoot the absolute piss out of all deer in soybeans.. Yall need to do something about it!!!

I mean a lot of those activities really affect more of what’s going on with “your wildlife” than a cocksucker running dogs through your property…

I condemn it all and am happy when the perps get caught..

I’d like to see at least a 500 acre minimum (although 100 acres would eliminate most if not all the problem) and a more than (1) year loss of license to hunt (for any trespassing to hunt).

I also support a separate dog hunting license $250 in state, $500 out of state.. To participate, not only to release hounds.

The private property alliance is definitely written poorly and shows bias..


Also, don’t call a dog to come find a deer or call to tell your buddy’s work that he is hooking up with your girlfriend and almost get him fired..
