Politics and voting are like looking at a truck stop toilet full of trucker turds and deciding which ones to flush and which one to keep.

The only 2 I know in the Ag race are Cannon and Simpson. Cannon is a full time farmer. Simpson is a full time politician (his dad and grandad are farmers).

Pamela said she is going to lower my property taxes, according to the fliers that have been in our PO box multiple days a week.

Why didn’t she try to do it in the last 8 years?

I'm just telling you what she told me.

Truth right there. Everytime Cody opens his mouth I like him less. Jeremy Cannon has my vote there.

Right now I want to vote for Rom Reddy for Guv....

No that was what started it. Reddy is 100% right about our state government.

Far as I am concerned, if you have a problem with Reddy's seawall, you had better be lined up to buy a few hours on the D8s as they remove all trace of our existence at the beach. Be willing to bet the State ain't listed as an owner on the deed of his property.

Hugh Weathers has been an excellent AG Commissioner for a long time. I'm sure he has a preferred replacement.

I would beg to differ. What do you think he has done in the past 2 terms that has been great?
Fred West would be Hugh 2.0. He needs to go enjoy retirement.

for the first time in a while, I need some motivation to vote. Usually there is one or two races I want to be a part of. This year there isn't.
Ugh. Stupid people piss me off.

Well, opinions vary. My business and personal interaction with Hugh are positive. I'd support my late friend Martin Eubanks for the job , but that isn't possible.

We have a long history of corrupt AG commissioners in the Peach State. Current guy Tyler Harper is so far a fine choice. Former AG Commish Tommy Irvin was known as a gangster and you couldn't shake his hand without the other hand being outstretched waiting to be greased with sweaty hundos.

Zero reason why we should be voting on downticket races like Agriculture. Most of us do not know what they do, can do, or should do, but yet we decide who gets to do it. We have a structurally weak governor. Hell, ten years ago we were voting for the Adjutant General over the National and Air Guard. Thankfully, that changed, but I think we should add agriculture to that list of things that we really should not be voting directly on in this state. MG

Get your head out of your ass Amigo He does not OWN the beach , there are laws in this Country/State/county you must abide by whether agree. Just because he has more money than God does not give him any special rights to ignore these laws/rules

Anyone else get the email from GOA this morning, part of it here

"Eventually, Goldfinch voted for Constitutional Carry. But voters should remember the full record that preceded that vote:

They should remember that Goldfinch blocked Constitutional Carry in 2019 while he chaired the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee.

They should remember that he voted against efforts to revive the legislation before it died that year.

They should remember that he supported another senator's amendment that would have eliminated Constitutional Carry entirely.

And they should remember that in 2024 he sought amendments that would have changed the bill and altered its fundamental purpose.
Today, as Goldfinch seeks higher office, South Carolina gun owners deserve to evaluate his record based on actions—not campaign slogans, election-year messaging, or political rhetoric."

What was Yellabirds issue with CC?
