I saw this the other day and was wondering if a county charge will stick. He's in the air, county doesn't have the jurisdiction to bring charges on someone in federal airspace, wouldn't he have to be charged by FAA?
Idk, maybe that's why he only got a breach of peace charge.
I think a good lawyer could get it dropped if FAA doesn't charge him.

Whatever charge sticks should be applied to drone operators.

We were discussing this last night at the dinner table. My mother in law was on the beach and watched it happen. She stated people were "running and screaming" in fear, I see none of that in the video. Her and my wife both thought he should be charged. I was of the opinion of, no harm no foul, people need to lighten up. Looks like a guy having some fun and giving people a free show.

He wasn't even low. What would all these women do when the crop duster dropped down 8ft off the ground. My kids would have enjoyed it.

My kids get this show from the local crop duster every weekend in the backyard. What is this world coming to…. And where is the gofundme for this dude’s bail?

Pawleys has changed a lot since the COVID influx. Every damn one of these yankees want to tell you how to live, whether your dog can be on the beach, kids can make sandcastles, fish off the beach or throw jelly balls at one another. My son was on the beach with his friends the other day throwing a football around, no one near them and some yankee transplant decided to try and set up where they were at and tell them they had to stop, Cullen called me and asked what they should do, I told him to continue what they were doing and let the fellow call me. I live two miles off the beach where that happened and haven't walked over that access point in 2 years. Two more years and I'm leaving PI for somewhere in Gtown once that kid walks across the stage at Waccamaw.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

My dad still lives in Hagley. I grew up in Pawleys and every time I visit it hurts my heart to think what it was 20-30 years ago. It’s becoming one more beautiful spot ruined by yankee transplants! Georgetown is next!

I was texted it this morning.. not my weekday, but newish weekend golf group we put together has grown.. several transplants in it. One of them asked me how long I'd been in Camden.. it began a discussion. He played Caledonia this morning, and texted me that pic, my grandmother's grandfather. It tripped him out, he's from Indiana. He's a Yankee, but not a damned yankee

My guess is FAA will come down on him IF intentional. He was quoted as saying a “knob came off”

When I first saw it I figured pilot knew folks on beach and was just messing with them but apparently not

Honestly if it were my family sitting there and he did that would probably piss me off, you have no idea of his intentions this day and age

The crop duster flys low to do a job, this guy was doing it to be a dickhead. I guess the pilot got the attention he was after.
