Default Trump to get FDA approval for ibogaine

At least it sounds like it...

🚨 WOW! Joe Rogan reveals President Trump IMMEDIATELY offered him FDA approval for a psychedelic treatment in a text chain

Because the data was SO CONVINCING and STUNNING

"I wanna tell everybody how this happened. I send President Trump some information."

"With one dose of Ibogaine, more than 80% of people are free of that addiction. With two doses, it's more than 90%. I sent him that information."

"The text message came back, sounds great. Do you want FDA approval? Let's do it. It was literally that quick!"

"For 56 years, we've lived under those terrible conditions. We're free of that now."

"We're free of that now, thanks to all these people that you see next to me, and thanks to President Trump!" —

It would have taken years to do what our President did in 1 day. Will help alot of people.

This is great. Even risk of heart attack is better than addiction consequences. And Joe should have worn a tie to the White House for the presser, not his magic suit black shirt black pants he wears to call a fight. Some things just require a tie. Going to the Oval Office is one of them.

I would totally disagree with this. We have been dealing with addiction back ass wards since we decided to utilize the laws to quasi enforce racism & "older desires" over the betterment of society as a whole. There are many other countries that decided not to criminalize behavior but seek the root, and help.

Yay...you could quit your opioid habit, but you may die with a heart attack. Not a real good trade off.

Read the paragraph above, and I would travel that way.

To the PTSD now that is another story you very likely may kill your self, and so what is the risk then. Plus you may kill someone around you.

I get real nervous when there is a 1 & done strategy. History usually shows that isn't a great idea. I realize this isn't the same, but how about the jab? It was gonna save us all. Many invasive species sounded real good until we turned them loose in the wild.

I just would use caution. I'm optimistic, but caution would be my stance!

The risk of cardiac issues isn't zero but it is very small. The benefits far outweigh the risk. As long as the person getting treated is honest with the doctors about what they have been taking and when then the risk is easier to mitigate. The problem comes in when people don't fully disclose what they are using and when the last time they used prior to treatment. And because of that the addiction protocol is very different than the one used for PTS, depression, suicide etc. Even with the PTS protocol they pre screen with a drug test and there can be zero alcohol consumption for at least 7 days prior to treatment.
