He ever see's the outside again, he'll be on a tropical island with no extradition treaty. Dicky Poot's probably trying to get him a weekend pass right now.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

There are but probably that many more beholding to him and his silence after all the years as solicitor. None of this will ever be clean. I can’t imagine him killing those two, maybe the wife due to divorce allegations but not the son.

He was NOT a drug addict.
Them that don't know him won't like him, and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him

He ain't wrong, he's just different, and his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right

Rest assured Poot and Griffin know where some of it is or they would be cutting a new trail.

Yeah, functioning at work as in embezzling funds from the law office, defrauding clients, stiffing bankers/IRS, intimidating witnesses to a crime, murdering his wife and kid and then trying to cover it up. As Boozer said, he wasn't a drug addict, that's some BS they he came up with to try and cover his tracks. Now all of this shit gets drug back out and put on the front page again, Mallory Beech's family, Stephen Smith's family, the housekeeper Gloria's family and others get drug through it all over again.

Poot is saying the state leaned so hard on the financial crimes and the financial
victims testifying because they had nothing else really to go with. That was 90% of their case.
Not a great motive, no witness, no forensic evidence, no confession
Nothing except him lying about where he was. Nothing related to the financial crimes can be heard
    this next time around.

    This. Exactly.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home. -Tecumseh-

I do not think he has any hidden. Old boy lived large and beyond his means regardless of what he made . House of cards started coming down when boat wreck happened and he saw writing on the wall and went in panic mode

Like i said don't know the man only what i read on here, in the news, and saw in the movie which i thought was way over done except for how gruesome the actual murder was described in the news. The crime he is being re-tried over is murder not financial crimes. The financial crime were federal crimes.

I don't think that's the ruling. The SC just said that it was overdone to the point that the prejudicial effect outweighed the probative value. I think the state can still present the financial crimes to establish motive, but not to the extent of last time.
