Its a pain in the ass to even go to Lowe's. I know I am a transplant but I came here 23yrs ago for work and didn't move here to escape liberalism . It was a quaint little town when I got here, now, pink and blue haired weirdos everywhere. Even got behind a Subaru the other day with a sticker on the back that said "Red State Blue Voter"

Me too. They always ask about a 50 acre tract connected to the rest. They obviously can't read a tax map.

Basically the same population from 1950, except for a spike in the 70s with Dupont, up until 2020.. we've added on 25ish percent since then. You cannot escape it being in the county, we put our swamp in a land trust.. everything around my house is being developed. I was going to move to lyttleton, but the house was moving slow, and the amount of people and traffic bothered my wife more then me. I signed a contract on a house in Hunt Cup.. you don't really see neighbors in there, can't develope it anymore, but still close.

I’ve told my wife I’m going to Nebraska once our girls graduate high school. Ducks, panfish, Muleys, whitetails, antelope, upland birds and a lot less people. Whats not to love? I cringed thinking about what’s fixin to happen to Georgetown.

Georgetown was a retirement destination for me for a while. That, or just south of there.

However, a coworker asked me today after I was speaking of Yankee infiltration - where would I like to go.

    My answer - Nome.

    He's like, huh, Alaska?

    Yup.

Gtown is getting ready to bust wide open.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I know you know a lot of well established people in Camden, why did the city and county council allow for all these deep pocket slab house developers to come in and buy land that I honestly never thought would get bought up? I watched a road that I live on now literally go from a low traffic area to a stupid high traffic area in a matter of 5 yrs. I know that city and county council members cant tell land owners what to do and not do but. You know as well as I do that Camden grew way too fast for our infrastructure. Went to greener pastures the other day and every single person/group in there was obviously not from the south. I hear and see more fire trucks and blue lights now than ever. Never saw homelessness when I got here now, there is always someone sitting or walking around.
