Default Buckle Up - More Coming

Looks like we are getting a lot of people from other states who are escaping liberalism.

How, or maybe why, is there anybody left in Ohio, Pennsylvania or New York?

I had four letters in my mailbox yesterday from out of state developers asking me if I was interested in selling my land in Dorchester.

I get messages daily about selling property. Yesterday I called the guy a carpetbagger and he took exception to it.

I ignore more. I'm closing on a house in a few days, dropped by the bank to sign a few things last week, they ran a credit search, basically a formality.. I get five calls a day now from mortgage lenders.

The state I'm seeing a lot of is Indiana. It's one of those states that you forget that exists.. but so far most have been better then any Buckeye.

A yankee is welcome to buy my house on James Island… it’s not going to change anything down here ship sailed a long time ago.

I feel bad for those in true rural areas, like wtf is someone from NY doing moving to holly hill?

I get them frequently too. We live on the lake and I have managed to pick up a few interior lots over the 30 years we've been here. Some of the offers are eye opening, but I'm not selling and it is fun to screw with them. I'm adding carpetbagger to the next conversation.
