    Default New ATF Regulations!!!!

This is a summary. There are more. ATF link included

The ATF has posted summaries of the new regulations, which include:

    1) Repeal Biden's pistol brace rule
    2) Revising "engaged in the business" rule
    3) Revising machine gun definition in response to Cargill decision
    4) Remove requirement for FFLs to post info about Youth Handgun Safety Act
    5) Revising 4473 form, including allowing electronic forms and increase the time NICS checks remain valid
    6) Allow FFLs to keep electronic records
    7) Replace indefinite retention of 4473s with definite time periods of 20 or 30 years
    8) Allow “Non-Over-the-Counter” firearm sales by FFLs to residents of the same state
    9) Repeal interstate NFA transport notice requirement for trips under 365 days, with all others no longer requiring approval before transport
    10) Joint NFA registration for married couples
    11) Remove NFA CLEO notification
    12) Clarify that "common, reasonably necessary activities during travel" are covered by FOPA transportation protection
    13) Allow import of dual-use frames, receivers, and barrels
    14) Clarify that "training rounds" are not ammunition
    15) Eliminate engraving requirement for people making NFA firearms out of existing serialized guns
    16) "Clarify that a person receiving assistance in only one functional area (such as financial management) would not, on that basis alone, be considered prohibited" under mental health disqualifier
    17) Requiring biological sex on ATF Forms
    18) Clarify when a transaction is a straw purchase
    19) Formally define "willfully" for firearms violations
    20) "Remove the list of former Soviet countries from which ATF currently denies applications to permanently import most firearms and ammunition, retaining only the Russian Federation"

You have to click on each "group" to see the changes. The scrapping the former com bloc rules is exciting. We can now get steel cased 7.62x39 again! There was already someone bringing in some PKM barrels, but I hope this expedites & or floods the market! I can't wait for zipper tits, "addadicktome", and axe wound to find out all their cosmetic cover up was all for not! Hahaha you still have to put your actual sex on a federal document. Geeze who would have thought this would even be necessary, but heeler we are!

Does 9 mean you can take a SBR state to state without asking permission?

Can we buy suppressors over the counter like long guns and pistols?

    Nope.

But this is a solid start (so far).

FYI - these are not sealed and written.

    They are still being discussed.

Individual has been relatively fast for quite some time. Late last year, I was getting 1-3 day suppressor and SBR approvals under a trust. Now, my F1's are taking over 60 days and my F4's are nearly 30.

I have another 2 cans in jail as we speak. However, one of them I did as an individual and I'll just roll it into my trust after it's in my possession. The other? Yeah, I'll be waiting a while.

I'm aware of this. But people are taking it to the bank. I support them just like the left did with the pistol brace ban.

    Ride it till they cant!

All is gonna happen is the pendulum swings back the other way, but hopefully you got what you wanted in the mean time.

For instance I need some PKM barrels

A little more in-depth info on some of the proposed changes (that isn't full of legalese):

And, in case anyone is curious, here's a pretty interesting article showing how busy the ATF has been with NFA items lately:

With the sheer number claiming at this rate it will soon be irrelevant for the silencer applications as most active shooters will already have a devise in hand. Silences are being promoted like crazy as every gun is see featured in gun magazines also show a silencer on the weapon
