Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

You might take out a dozen before they drag you from your home and skull fuck you to death. Marsh Chicken 6/21/2013

I really cannot stress the importance of doing this...Get ahold of a concrete person..I know of one on here. Have him pour the pad for a 6x10 kennel (prob 8x12)..put it in a shaded area. Then go to tractor supply and get the 6x10 welded wire kennel they sell..I think the brand is Lodge or something. You will drop some coin, but you can your pooch in that and not worry while you are away. Huntinghagen and Saltydog, and a few others gave me the idea and its what every dog owner should have in my opinion. If it costs too much to do all that, go with the electric fence. CD knows these.
    At least I'm housebroken.

This has crossed my mind several times but my issue is space in back yard to do this , getting concrete is not an issue (have quite a few clients in that business)

I built mine under the deck, if that helps.
