    Default Turkey Crop Pics

Always interests me to see what a bird has been eating. Would be interesting to see a breakdown of yalls birds and general habitat it was taken in.

I opened one up this morning but didn't take a picture. Same as yours, full of caterpillars, water oak acorns and small seeds. River swamp bird.

I've found sheet metal screws and a spark plug ceramic. I guess both have that ribbed, cylindrical look of a grub.

I tote that marble hunting every single spring morning!

Pretty cool right there. Like mallard ducks, they will eat anything they can get their lips around...

Awesome. I love killin Gobblers in May. They will surely eat whatever they can choke down.

I shot one in Wilkes county ,GA many moons ago that had 37 grasshoppers crammed in his craw. Others filled with Tadpoles, baby snakes, and all manner of seeds.

They are super cool birds indeed.

My favorite postmortem check has long been squeezing a wood duck and seeing white oak acorns regurgitated..

Believe those may be PawPaw seeds. Killed one a couple of years ago, in an upstate creek bottom, that had 40-50 of them in it.

I watched a turkey peck/hunt tadpoles or minners for a minute today. That was cool.

I pulled three of my daughters’ hair ties out of one chicken gizzard last year.

When you don’t have to taste or chew your food, I guess anything goes.
