    The croc and the hippo were in the same river. Those guys arent too scared of the crocs in the area. That was a really sandy bank you could see for 100s of yards. They are scared to death of hippos.

    Couple hundred pounds for sure. The crew took one of them. The community uses everything, even the stomach lining is gone. Those pics don't really show the crowd. There were 4-500 people all with little bags to get 1-2 lbs of meat.

    I thought to myself earlier when I looked at the post, I wonder what an elephant ribeye (equivalent) would taste like? But after thinking about it, it seems like it would be much tougher than beef. Seems an elephant would use its muscles much more than a butchered cow like we are accustomed to.
