    Default Tuna crudo

My father in law dropped some fresh yellowfin by the house the other day. I didn't cook a single ounce of it. Had some people over Friday and put this together. Good olive oil, lemon juice and a little white balsamic, crushed pistachio, jalapeño and some of the preserved lemon I had made and a little sprinkle of Malden salt. Mighty fine.

Has anyone figured out why pics are sideways now and how to fix that?

    Nice.
Store bought? Fresh caught? What state?

I miss you posting threads like this. Also, please define "good" olive oil. Is it possible to purchase "good" olive oil at Publix or Fresh Market?

DT, fish came off a boat at Cherry Point Seafood. Caught 100ish miles east of Charleston.
BB, something other than store brand or the Pompeian jug. I like the Graza stuff. Fresh market should have some good stuff as well as Whole Foods.

I fed a house full of people an appetizer of fresh bonita crudo, and no one knew it wasn't supposed to taste good. Temperature extremes (freezing or cooking at all) are what make it (and blackfin truly) taste bad I think.

I'm sure yellowfin is better than both. Haven't had any local and fresh since my dad would bring them home in the 90s, and I'm sure he nuked it to well done anyway. Looks good, willk
