I have never been behind a dog with a wild pheasant flush..I'd like to see that behind my own dog one day, perhaps. Until then, plenty of opportunities for Appalachian ruffed grouse. I am hard-pressed to find a better investment in life than hunting wild birds...ducks included. Of course. Thanks for sharing those pics..

That's awesome I miss those days of finding 10 to 12 coveys behind my bird dogs. I was raised on quail hunting from the age of 5 up until I graduated high school when the quail population bottomed out here.

I've had a tough time finding plenty of grouse (at least in NC). Maybe I'm not looking in the right spot- haha!


Agree on hunting wild birds, there's nothing like it. Nitz you'll need to experience that pheasant flush.
