    Dr. (well dentist) Richard Sasnett was the rally master. He would post his crew up in the South Edisto River and then jump in his Robalo and run those bluebills ragged offshore until they had to fly inland. Allegedly, of course...

    He was my dentist until I was way too old to still be going to him.

    Remember when he used to make us chew those red pills? One of my oldest friends, his son, passed away a few months after Doc died. I am still not over it...

    Haha. He put braces on me when I was like 11 ( for four years)…….my teeth moved like crazy when I grew up and I really need them again. Speaking of doctors who are just grabbing $ and not doing things in the best interest of their patient. He was one of them. Never forget that.

    Bobby Kennedy and the old man brought a layout boat to the South Edisto river from Camden. Killed my first greater scaup and canvasback. Doc freaked out about it and screamed we ruined duck hunting down here for years, so I feel you. It was like saying the Honkettes ruined rock and roll...
