Mexican are too poor to hunt. It’s $25 a box of lead shot down there. Do I feel bad about shooting all those ducks nope. You were giving two flats of shells per blind. My group never shot more than 9 boxes some blinds did. They also killed more than a 100 plus ducks. Yes these ducks are coming from the US. If Mexico had as many duck hunters as the US then it would be a problem. We got in the blinds about 8 to 8:30 and shot til lunch time. We could have shot ducks all day. We would get to our blind and flush a few hundred ducks off of it that was the pond hunts. But the bay hunt was the best. We could have killed a few hundred ducks but we stop at 80. We killed every type but Mallards and wood ducks. Would I do it again you bet your sweet ass. I would like to get on a red head hunt they have to come to fresh water. Some groups killed a hundred red heads. I killed one and a bunch of cinnamon teal died one morning. It’s a trip worth going on. My cost was 5150 for 4 days hunting and I didn’t hunt ducks one day. No extra cost for dove or quail hunting just had to pay for shells. That price I gave included hunt food drinks tip lodging transportation and airfare. We have book next year already at Ruben Hunts. The cartel is not messing with you either. They just look out for police.
