There is a negative for the electric start but no positive to be found anywhere. Am I to assume that I need to move the red from the left of the screen to the battery to use electric start?

It’s there. Connects to solenoid on the starter.

Funny I just talked to old co-worker that bought your old one. He’s back in West Virginia now

So disconnect it and move it to the battery?

I see the negative cable hanging there unconnected black wire. Hook in up to the negative terminal.

Should go from the batt terminal on the starter solenoid to the positive battery terminal. Likely a heavy red wire.

Got it now! The wire that is connected to the solenoid is it. The side that connects to the battery was “tied” to the frame where I couldn’t see it. When I pulled on it earlier I just assumed it was connected to something.
