USMC, what are you running the OCL Ti on? Got one on a Keltec CMR and it won't cycle.

I've used it on several things. It pretty much lives on my AR22; I usually just use the cheapest shit I can find. Here's my kid running some cheap Academy Monarch crap:

Works pretty good for about 3 seconds.

    Over 2,500 rounds.

24 hour soak in the Breakthrough Suppressor Cleaner & BAM!

    EDIT: ABSOLUTELY ZERO scrubbing.

So much for the 6-9 month wait on approvals. Got the email that I’m approved as of 9:00 this morning. Form 4 w/ single shot trust, sent in on Monday 1-5-26.

That's awesome! I submitted 3 Form 1's on Monday and a Form 4 today. Still waiting on Silencer Shop to stop dragging their feet and ship out another item (so I can wait on that, too).

Both are awesome, again the only difference is the FRP which was important to me
The Dead Air Mask 22 weighs around 6.5 ounces, while the Otter Creek Labs (OCL) Titanium 22 is approximately 4.1 ounces
I suspect it depends on if the pistol has a 3", 4", or 5" barrel. Mine is the 5" and extra weight (tested as the gun shop) is more obvious.

USMC - I was looking at the B&T 22 Tiger and stopped when the description said it's not user serviceable. I don't have any experience with 22 cans so wasn't sure if that's any real concern or not.

Agreed. If using a Beretta Bobcat, different weighted cans can easily be felt.

My 7th rimfire can will be the Tiger or Huxwrx Flow 22 Ti (unless I come across a deal on decent $200-$225 cans). And, yes, neither are serviceable.

Personally, I don't care. Drop that thing in tube of suppressor cleaner, leave it overnight, run hot water through it, shake it out, and go another 3k-5k rounds.

Flow-thru cans are less dirty than standard ones. Most of that crap gets blown out the front.

Good to know. I figured that might be the case. Another question for the Tiger 22 is that since it is compatible with "light" .223 shooting, how well would a few rounds of .223 clean it out? I'm guessing it would only knock out chunks.

A new one is that I just received a followup email from Silencer Shop with a copy of the my ATF paperwork for the OCL Ti 22. Attached is also this POA...

"... hereby consent to and authorize the disclosure of all returns and return information pertaining to any ATF Form 5320.4 Application for Tax Paid Transfer and Registration of Firearm (Form 4) to Hill Country Class 3, LLC d/b/a Silencer Shop and its employees and representatives, pursuant to 26 U.S.C. § 6103(c). This consent and authorization apply to any such forms or applications signed or submitted, pertaining to the firearm with serial number 'xxxxxxx', on or after the date of my signature below and until such time as I provide written revocation of consent.

I understand a temporary POA for submittal, but this tax return access is bull. Any idea what this crap is all about?

You have always given temp POA for any Form 4. The "Tax Paid Transfer" verbiage just hasn't been updated since the removal of the tax. I think you're misreading what is going on here.

EDIT YOUR POST -- remove your serial.

Regarding the .223 blowjob -- while safe, I personally won't do it with a printed can. I've seen several cross-sections of different designs. I'm not going to subject those thin walls to centerfire pressures, especially when cleaner is cheap and reusable. And, taking it one step further -- I'm not sure if Simple Green works with titanium. If it does, BAM! Cheaper cleaner. (Quick Google search: The purple Simple Green Extreme Aircraft Precision Cleaner is ideal for titanium suppressors, especially for its safety with other materials.)

I've been reusing breakthrough cleaner for a year or two. It's black, but it still works fine.

    Thanks for the editing.

I can't find any copy of a POA on my last can, which is what initially caught my eye. If the POA specified an end date, i.e. ATF Approval date, I'd be fine with it, but open access as noted is bunk for any private company. I'm waiting on hold with SS now, so if I ever get through to them I'll update here. Thanks.

If you did a 3rd party, you did a POA.

Took me 31min to talk to someone last Thursday.

I couldn't get through in over 30 minutes and had to move on for now. And, yes, a POA in this instance to handle the paperwork is understood, but the language, which is currently a legal document, specifies "... the disclosure of all returns and return information pertaining to any ATF Form 5320.4 Application for Tax Paid Transfer and Registration of Firearm ...". Maybe the following wording of "pertaining to any ATF Form 5320.4..." restricts the details, but since I have no record of any such POA from previous purchases I'll need to get verification.

Congrats dude. Let me know what you think about the Scythe; videos sound good and Pew Science rates it pretty good. I'm waiting on 3 Form 1's and 4 Form 4's.

All this shit should be instantaneous for current owners.

If it doesn’t suck tomorrow, I’ll probably shoot it and let you know. I think once they plow through some of the initial massive amount of submissions, it will be 24 hours (as long as it’s not your first). Before these, my previous one was 24 hours with the $200. I’d like one more and then I’m done for a while. I’m set up pretty good for a relatively wide range of pistols and rifles with what I’ve accumulated.
