Don't spread the flex seal with your hands.. it's not terrible to get off, but a tad aggravating.. I've repeated twice since my first time getting it all over my hands, not as bad as carc paint.

Oh, and you're right. It's a bitch to get off anything!
This will likely trigger 2th, but I buy Academy stockingfoot waders, save the receipt, and exchange them when they leak (around the 1 year mark usually). They haven't batted an eye yet, probably 6 exchanges. I do have a pair of Simms wader boots that are getting rough after 9 years that will need replacing next year. I would like to get some fancy waders, but I can't be without waders for a week or two during the season when they would inevitably leak. 6 years and running off my initial $89 Academy investment vs $800-1200 for the big names
Stocking foot and a good wading boot.
Replace the stocking foot set as necessary. Don't have to be fancy. Can keep extra set in your toolbox during hunting season.
Works well wading and moving.
If hunt deep cold water often layer with bibs.
Just got a "nice" pair of drakes on sale. Felt pin hole leaks on the first hunt and by the third hunt the left leg was filling up quick.
My pair of frog togs before these made it through 4 years of hell, of course i left them out and a critter chewed a hole in them.
I hunt a good bit and ive been running the gator breathables the last few years . Very comfortable and have had pretty good luck with em .
If it aint got 8 toes & a green head,it aint a duck.
My rogers working man breathables are on year 4 and still going strong. The lacrosse brush toughs lasted 7 years but you had to wear shorts they were so damn hot. Breathables are cold as shit when it’s really cold.
