    Default Youth Dog Hunt

We put together a youth dog hunt on youth day. Had 19 kids at the club and showed them a fine time. The 20ga’s ran hot after the rain stopped. Walker killed his 9th deer of the season and 6th in front of the beagles. He knows how to shoot a shotgun. This dog hunting thing isn’t for everyone but we showed this group’s of kids there’s more to hunting deer than sitting in a stand watching a corn pile.

Hell yeah! We had 6 kids show up and hunted in the rain. 5 of them shot and down 2 bucks and a doe. Better succes than most of the grown men on our club

That's how I grew up hunting. Was just talking to my 15 year old about it over the holidays. Sad to say, he had no idea you could run deer with dogs. Wish we still had those opportunities. I lived for them from 6 until I left for college.
