The Ruger 10/22 magnum was discontinued because it had a lot of feed issues. Magnum Research makes a badass .22WMR, based 10/22 platform. They figure out gas system that works. They share the same bolt, trigger group, stock-maybe barrel, I believe. But, get your cash out there pretty proud of them.
Have a Marlin bolt gun, stainless with laminated stock. It’s a tack driver. Forget the model.

Marlin 25N or 25M is what I think mine is. I'd check but I left it at camp. It was cheap and is a solid shooter

    I have a Marlin 882 SS .22 MAG.

Ive had it over 20 years and shot hundreds and hundreds of critters with it.

I also used it years ago when I was on a top secret Lowcountry neighborhood deer sniper team. We were required to do head or neck shots to drop them on the spot.

Very accurate gun if you are looking for a bolt action gun.

I pulled the trigger on this after work.

Bergara BMR 22 WMR…..stuck a Leupold 4x12 on it and have a Dead Air Mask I’ll wait for. That’s my 9mm can in the pic.

    Should be fun.

Looks like a nice little package.

I suggest coating those baffles with some dielectric grease before you put a bunch of rounds down range with that setup.

Makes a huge difference when ya finally go to clean them.

    Works like a charm.

Leave it sitting overnight then basically just wipe the crap off. The solution will last a LONG time. You can filter it with some cheesecloth or gauze when the crap really starts to accumulate in the bottom of the cylinder.

Want to clean your suppressor with minimal effort?

    Breakthrough Clean Technologies. $60.00.

Best money I have spent. No scrubbing. Don't even have to disassemble the can . Submerge. Sit overnight. Drain and let air dry.

There is no small game season on either of those. There is a dog only hunt in March and you have to use a handgun. That said lots of hogs get shot off those dikes after duck season when the water is high…

I was gonna say something, but...nah.

Keep an eye on the 32 oz. refill bottle. I see them, from time to time, for a very reasonable price on Amazon and a few other places.

I have the 25mn. She has killed everything that I’ve ever wanted dead. Extremely accurate for an off the shelf gun from Walmart 25 years ago. Fixing to send the barrel off to get threaded for my dead air suppressor.

That'd be a poachers dream package right there.

I picked up a Ruger American .22 WMR in the Go-Wild camo with the bronze barrel and action coating. It seems to be like it would be fairly weatherproof. I was looking at the CZ and Bergara as higher quality rifles, but the Ruger kept showing up in reviews as equal or better in accuracy. I haven’t shot it enough yet to vouch on that, but it handles well. I got it for $459 a few months back, fwiw.
