    Default Pintail Pirogues

Anyone have experience with them or own one. Would love to hear opinions.

Just what I've experienced overall. Aluminum pirogue = noisy.(usually heavier too) Fiberglass (or wood) = quiet with fiberglass being lighter.

The center keel makes a pirogue difficult to turn when push poling across a mud flat and won't allow it to slide sideways off stumps or grass clumps.

I think there's a dealer in Columbia, I'd recommend testing one before buying.
Listen to your elders. Not because they are always right but because they have more experiences of being wrong.

I saw them at the Sportsman Classic and they looked great. I have no clue how they handle. There’s a dealer off of exit 33 on I-20.

Probably go good with a little long tail but the center keel has me wondering.
