That is absurd to say the least and landowners have a right to be pissed just like Mr Allen Bell and other Colleton Co landowners that will be directly impacted by the proposed data center.
If they are a must, there are better options that would be far less destructive than each respective location of these new utility infrastructures.
ETA, Weyerhauser and other industry landowners are looking for HBU options for all this land right now and they don't give a shit about the environment, rural landscapes and neighborhoods, or you and I....HBU=Max return
the gas line thru bg and millaree couldve followed the existing power line ROW thru westinghouse....but it didnt. good luck fighting that. I'll pull for ya but you wont win
