It's amazing how many CE properties that are targeted for this pipeline.
I guess they assume or figure fewer properties is the path of least resistance.

Currently there are 32 active data center projects in South Carolina totaling $16B of investment. The largest being the DC Blox proejct Daybreak in Charleston coming in at close to $4B. Followed by Google in Ridgeville close to 1.6B and QTS Cobra project in Rockhill has about 15 smaller ones planned. Terra Nexus in Camden followed by some other smalls. This stuff for Colleton hasn't hit the "data" sources yet.
In Hampton Co., the proposed gasline will traverse 11 landholdings that are protected by perpetual conservation easements if they stay the course!
That is absurd to say the least and landowners have a right to be pissed just like Mr Allen Bell and other Colleton Co landowners that will be directly impacted by the proposed data center.
If they are a must, there are better options that would be far less destructive than each respective location of these new utility infrastructures.
ETA, Weyerhauser and other industry landowners are looking for HBU options for all this land right now and they don't give a shit about the environment, rural landscapes and neighborhoods, or you and I....HBU=Max return
