    Default Wisteria

Anybody else ever had wisteria take over part of your woods before?

Mannnn this stuff has made a mess at one of my places.

I am planning on starting to work on killing it after deer season. I think I am gonna hack and squirt with the Craig harper cocktail. I probably have 5-7 acres thats been affected by it, so I've got my work cut out but I am going to give it my best effort.

When we bought our lake house 30 years ago we could not see the lake from the house. Roughly 100 yards. There were vines 3-4 inches in diameter and the trees were full. I cut the vines off at the ground and sprayed gly on every leaf that tried to sprout. Took a few years but its all gone now.

Cut stump method, ground level with loppers and spray with triclopyr, aka garlon. Next year august and September go spot spray any leaves waist level and down with glyphosate. 3 years staying on top of it you’ll have it nearly gone

Remedy works. Is a generic version of garlon.
